I must say one of my favorite genres at the moment would have to be tower defence games. The basic idea is you must build up a defence along side a path that creeps (the baddies) will follow. I figure for the first post in the Fireblast games blog I'll share the game that got me started. Flash element TD Oldie but a goodie and please feel free to comment any and all posts here at Fireblast.
